Girona’s old town and the Eixample district have high prices for a city of its size. The cheap supply is concentrated in the western neighbourhoods and in the towns of the immediate ring, all less than fifteen minutes from the centre.
Salt and Santa Eugènia
Salt is an independent municipality right next to Girona that holds the cheapest flats in the whole county. Santa Eugènia de Ter, already inside Girona, has very similar prices and a large supply of renovated flats from the seventies.
Sant Narcís and Can Gibert del Pla
These are neighbourhoods of low houses and small blocks next to the railway station. They have a good supply of two- and three-bedroom flats and are among the most sought-after areas for people who want value without leaving the city.
Nearby towns
- Sarrià de Ter and Celrà, to the north, with a train link and contained prices.
- Quart and Fornells de la Selva, to the south, with larger homes.
- Vilablareix and Aiguaviva, with reasonably priced new builds.
